We’ve moved the site to a new web host -- not that you probably care but we are trying to maintain the best experience possible for anyone interested in Blow-Up and Up the Academy.

A live DVD of Blow-Up is now available. Souvenir Live in L.A. 1984-88 contains 17 great live performance of Blow-Up in their heyday. Blow-Up favorites like “Easy Knowledge”, “Hanging Out at the 7-Eleven”, and “We’re So Cool” are included. Check out all the details here.

At long last, the first major release from Blow-Up, “Easy Knowledge” is now available. This critically acclaimed album was called “great smart-teen...style” by Robert Christgau and “pretty amazing” by Mikal Gilmore of the L.A. Herald-Examiner.

The online version of “Easy Knowledge” includes four bonus tracks that were not available on the original vinyl release: Local Hero, Souvenir, You Beat Me to the Punch, and the previously unreleased version of the Blow-Up classic Beat the Devil.
